Motivation:
With small steps of constant improvement, you can change the world. Each tiny move in the right direction builds a significant improvement over time, until you ultimately reach your inner potential.

2nd- How Calculate Your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate)
BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is the minimum calorific requirement needed to sustain life in a resting individual.
The Harris-Benedict formula (BMR based on total body weight)
Men: BMR = 66 + (13.7 x wt in kg) + (5 x ht in cm) - (6.8 x age in yrs)
Women: BMR = 655 + (9.6 x wt in kg) + (1.8 x ht in cm) - (4.7 x age in yrs)
Times I am glad I am thinner
It is good to keep this list handy to remind yourself why you are putting your body and mind through hell. If you start to see improvement or transformation, you can reflect on the motivations and give yourself positive statements like "I am so glad that I can now fit into the seats at the baseball stadium". or "I have so much more breath that I can sing in choir longer without becoming fatigued." or "I love that I can play with my nephew when he wants to go play golf."
So we discussed why Motivations are important. Now lets look closer at the Goals.
Goals
Activities I want to do when I am thinner:

I am so beat right now it is unbelievable. I have blisters on my feet, the insides of my legs burn, my back and arms are tired and overall I am zapped of energy.
Still, I walked 1/2 mile, and ran 1.5 miles on the elliptical machine. That felt good.
Today I am going to buy some groceries to get back into the swing of things. I need some fresh fruits and veggies, and more Lean Cuisine meals. I choose the lower carb ones and am supposed to add some protien (chicken/turkey breast, ham or tuna), but haven't been as hungry lately.
today's message is short, as I have much work to do to get ready for tonight. Take care.

I don't really know how to respond to these items. The list is for ongoing situations where I need to make the best choice of what is possible. Looking over the menus at the various places, I made lists of what would be the best choices.
I simply can't assume that I am going to stop having a social life or travelling around or being in some place that I haven't prepared a meal. I don't plan on eating chicken wings all day every day, but looking at the menu, this is a safe choice that fits in with the genre of having a beer with friends at Applebees.
Or, if stuck on a road trip at Wendy's, do I order the Single Combo, or a Potato and Chili?
As for the baked potato, I have been reading that this may not be as bad of a choice.
Potato, baked with skin 4" x 2'" has 220 Calories, 4 grams protien, and 51 grams carbs, 0 grams fat. Is this better than, for example a Snickers bar: Calories: 280.00, Fat 14.00g,
Carbohydrate 35.00g, Protien 4.00g.
Ok, maybe they are pretty similar. I guess...

I feel really tired and run down today. I feel as if I hit a mack truck, and my back and legs hurt. I went to the gym and 'power walked' (kind of like speedwalking, but more power, less speed) for 30+ minutes, then sat in the dry sauna, showered, and returned to work. I feel ok now, but still feel like I am 2nd day into a hard struggle. I hope this feeling goes away after a few days.
Well, that is all for today. There is more, but i will leave my musings for later....
