0 - 0, bottom of the 4th....

Motivation:

"To be successful, you must decide exactly what you want to accomplish,
then resolve to pay the price to get it."~Bunker Hunt

Diary:

snack: protien bar, rootbeer energy drink
gym: walk 1/2 mile
dinner: a few hamburger patties, a few slices of colby cheese, a dob of catsup, water
breakfast: bagel and peanut butter, coffee
lunch: leftover Maple Chicken & Apples, brocoli, water

Notes:

The workout yesterday was a moral victory, although not very physical. I felt beat and still feel pretty sore. I know this will pass if I keep moving. I just am glad that I got to the gym, and did a short workout (really short) and I also got my ID Card. Very exciting, huh.

Overall, I am starting to feel glimpses of the energy high that I had earlier this year. For the last couple of months i have felt uncomfortable, my head was foggy, and I didn't have much energy. For the next couple of weeks, my energy level may actually dip, but I do start to feel the cloudy brain fog starting to clear.

Answer to reader questions:

To whom is that $160 challenge available? By whom is it being offered?
Everyone in the challenge put in $20. The $160 is going to go to the most percentage of weight lost. As I have indicated before, it is somewhat of a bad measure to do anything by, becauase this measures total body %, instead of fat%, so theoretically someone could remain just as fat as they were when they began, by losing overall body weight, but not fat weight.
Also, this means that someone who weighs 190 could lose 19lbs to be at 10% loss, however a 430lb man would need to lose 43lbs. The comeback to this issue is "well, it will be easier for the fat man to lose weight than the skinny man." This is not a realistic remark, becuase it is still about 3-4 lbs per week, so the fat man would be able to lose (3x12) 36lbs in 12 weeks. It is pretty difficult to reach the 10% mark if you have another 20+ lbs to lose.

more later,

Chazz
