The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. - Martin Luther King
Diary:

L: lean cuisine
S: Tuna and crackers
D: Birthday Meal at family's house - chicken, veggie, fruit.
I added 1 minute to my ellipticle training for the next three weeks. I will also add some abdominal crunch exercises to my routine.
The weekends are always a little harder to stay consitent, as my daily schedule is completely different. I am going to have to work on how to stay in the game on weekends. It was nice to have a couple days of rest from the gym.
Ok, eveyone has been asking about it, so here it is...
Measurements from Saturday:
Weight - 430
Chest - 58 (measured at the widest point)
Waist - 68 (measured at the umbilicus / belly button. This is the widest point).
Hips - 58 (some problems figuring out where to measure. I did not include the subcutaneous fat [dunlop fat], instead measured the hip itself. I think this is a more acurate measurement, as I already accounted for the subcutaneous with the waist measurement, and this gives a more accurate reading of the estimated lean body weight in the calculations. I might redo this measurement tonight to get a couple different readings. As long as I measure in the same place each time, I guess it doesn't matter too much. )
Thigh - 31
Neck - 18.5
Calf - 20.5
Bicep - 18
Forearm - 14.5
Total Loss lbs = 40
Total Loss inches = 7.25
Estimated Lean Body Weight = 277.48
Estimated Body Fat Weight = 152.52
Estimated Body Fat Percentage = 35.47%
Estimated Body Mass Index (BMI) = 55.20
Estimated Body Fat Weight = 152.52
Estimated Body Fat Percentage = 35.47%
Estimated Body Mass Index (BMI) = 55.20
I am 16.08lbs from the first goal.
If I stay with what I am doing, I will make the St Patrick's day challenge.
Just doing some future calculations. When I hit my first goal, which could happen by Feb 18, I will need to make a new goal.
My new goal will be based on Body Fat %. I am at 35.47% right now, so I am thinking about trying to get down to 30%. (The Ultimate Goal would be 14%)
to do that at my current size (measurements), I would need to weigh 396.40lbs. I would need to plan on losing 33.60lbs. More on that calculation later. This number can change based on my girth.
Next measurements in 3 weeks.
Next posting tommorow.
