Notes:
This morning on a local sports talk radio show, the bonehead hosts were talking about a 700lb man who passed away and the firefighters who showed up at the scene were contemplating how to recover the man.
The radio host stated "If you get over 400lbs, why try anymore. Just eat a sandwich and shut up." "Losing weight if you are that enourmous is like throwing a lounge chair off of the deck of the titanic!" I guess we have a new standard of humor in the sports radio market.
The funny thing is, that today at workout, (I guess I should have explained a long time ago that my mp3 player is on 'shuffle mode' so I don't have control over what will play next. It randomly picks one of my 200 songs to play next. I maybe will hear 10 to 12 songs per workout, randomly chosen... I digress) today at my workout Amy Grant's "Takes a Little Time" started playing.
Chorus:
It takes a little time sometimes, to get your feet back on the ground
It takes a little time sometimes, to get the titanic turned back around
It takes a little time sometimes, but baby you're not going down
It takes more than you've got right now. Give it time.
.
Obviously, I started laughing out loud, scaring the poor souls on the machines next to me. Just call me the Titanic...
Chazz "Titanic" Vader.
see you next time.
