"We create the situations & then we give our power away by blaming the other person for our frustration. No person, no place & no thing has any power over us for "WE" are the only thinkers in our mind." ~Louise Hay

Notes:
good day overall at the gym and at work. I didn't forget anything, and was able to make my schedule work for me. I have a lot of cheerleaders out there. I got a nice email from a coworker, let's call him Chris, who's wife just had a baby:
"Thanks for the kind note. Mother and son are in good health and doing well. I couldn’t be more excited about being a father.
You are one of my headliners and I know your future is bright. You’re not just a smart guy, you are the type of person I really enjoy dealing with."
This is from a guy who knows about my weight loss program and everytime I see him is very supportive. I appreciate his concern and his kudos. You are one of my headliners and I know your future is bright. You’re not just a smart guy, you are the type of person I really enjoy dealing with."
Two others at church, let's call them Don and Paul, also are checking in with my to see if I am keeping up with things. Now, it is not that I need someone to nag me or be convicting me to do my work. I don't think they are asking me to be accountable, but they are just trying to motivate me, letting me know that even though the rest of the world sees me as a fat lazy hog, they are noticing the difference in both physical and non-physical ways. I think they are genuinly interested in seeing me do well and be a witness and role model to others that are struggling with some issue in their life.
Also, a friend of mine and motivator for the St. Pattrick's Day Challenge, sent me an email yesterday:
"Regardless of whom you attribute your determination and success too; you are doing a great and dedicated job from what I’ve been following. Keep it up."
These virtual high-fives mean a lot to me. Thanks.
Today on the elliptical, I started smiling and ran a little bit faster. The following song came on the mp3:
Don't wanna wait 'til tomorrow
Why put it off another day?
One by one, little problems
Build up, and stand in our way.
One step ahead, one step behind it
One step ahead, one step behind it
Now ya gotta run to get even
Make future plans, I'll dream about yesterday!
Come on turn, turn this thing around
.
.
Right now! Hey! It's your tomorrow
Right now! Come on, it's everything
Right now! Catch your magic moment
Do it right here and now
It means everything
